Who publishes this site
Portugal Online Corp has worked in Portugal and Azores travel since the 1990s. This site is part of that broader travel-information family, but its purpose is editorial: help travelers understand the islands, compare realistic routes and make better planning decisions before they book anything.
Our Azores roots
Since 1996, our work has included helping travelers discover the Azores. Long before the islands became widely recognized as a nature and adventure destination, the goal was simple: explain what makes the archipelago distinctive and encourage thoughtful travel across all nine islands.
We are not associated with the Government of the Azores and we are not an official site of the islands. We just love the Azores and its people.
Why the independence notice is prominent
The AzoresAirlines.com domain predates the airline brand now known as Azores Airlines. To avoid confusion, the V2 site is deliberately presented as an independent Azores destination and trip-planning guide. We do not present ourselves as an airline, sell airline tickets here or provide airline customer service.
